This series is China’s version of Game of Thrones.
It tells the story of the fight for dominance among three protagonists in the last years of the fictional Duan dynasty. The sixth prince of the royal family, Muyun Sheng gives up his power and position for true love. Muru Hanjiang, the son of a senior general, is born in a noble family but grows up among commoners. He loves freedom but also wants to keep the social order and returns to his family after undergoing tremendous hardships. Shuofeng Heye is a descendant of the Eight Tribes in Hanzhou. He loses his family and clansmen in the battle against the Muru cavalry but grows up from an avenger into a real Tieqin King (ruler of the world) after a baptism of blood and fire.
